UCF Library Celebrates 30th Anniversary as a Patent & Trademark Resource Center (PTRC)

To celebrate its 30th year as a Patent & Trademark Resource Center (PTRC), UCF’s John C. Hitt Library will be hosting a free, one-day USPTO seminar: Researching Patent and Trademark Information, Thursday, December 13, 2018, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The seminar features a range of sessions for inventors, entrepreneurs, educators, students and legal professionals.  Topics include:

  • An overview of Intellectual Property
  • How to conduct a patent search
  • How to conduct a trademark search
  • How to avoid invention promotion scams
  • A local resource panel of business and innovation experts

The Florida Bar has approved this program for 5.5 General CLE credits and 5.5 Intellectual Property Law Certification Credits.
